CBRE Portugal, the leading real estate consultant, has advised MERLIN Properties – owner of “Torre A” in “Torres de Lisboa” – on the leasing of four floors to Luz Saúde, the operator of the Hospital da Luz network and one of Portugal's largest private healthcare providers. The lease covers a total of 4,000m² across floors 8, 9, 10, and 11, with occupancy expected in January 2025, upon completion of the space adaptation works.

Torre A is currently undergoing a complete refurbishment by MERLIN Properties, with upgrades being made to both the common and private areas. The floors will be delivered to Luz Saúde in an open space layout, featuring a state-of-the-art air conditioning system and new LED lighting. This investment will elevate Torre A into a premier office building, offering a high-quality work environment.

The renovation of Torre A also includes two auditoriums, a gym, a dining area, and shared meeting rooms on the ground floor, transforming it into a highly functional and appealing workspace for businesses. Furthermore, the building’s strategic location — close to the airport and city center, with excellent public transport connections — significantly enhances its appeal.

André Almada, Senior Director of Offices at CBRE Portugal, highlights that “Luz Saúde is the third tenant CBRE has secured for Torre A, bringing the total leased area to 7,900m². This reflects the success and quality of the project developed by MERLIN Properties. Torre A also meets one of the most important criteria for companies today: sustainability, as it is one of the few buildings with LEED Gold certification, the second-highest standard in energy efficiency,” noted the director.
