CBRE launches, for the first time in Portugal and on an European level, the Proptech Challenge, to seek out digital talent capable of revolutionising the world of real estate via innovative and disruptive ideas.Proptech Challenge will take place in Portugal, Spain, the UK and Germany, and participants will be able to register until 31 October on the Proptech Challege website. Participants may enter individually or as a group in the case of start-ups. Registrations can be made for one of the two categories: Best Disruptive Idea and Best Impact Startup.
The winners will have the opportunity to participate in a CBRE fast-track programme, that will permit them to develop their projects with the know-how and orientation of the CBRE teams, enjoy a learning expedition, and win prize money. The winners will also take part in a roadshow to present their projects in Germany, Portugal, Spain and United Kingdom.
In its highly successful first edition last year in Spain, CBRE Proptech Challenge received more than 80 innovation projects, 220 participants and a total of €25,000 was awarded in prize money. In addition, more than 1,500 hours of work were invested by over 50 experts in this sector. Out of all projects presented, “Aura” by Pablo Garnica, Miguel Álvarez and Pablo Jodar, and “Daysk.com” by Julien Palier and Benoit Guilloz were named winners of the Disruptive Idea and Impact Startup categories, respectively.
